Difference between NTAG213, NTAG215, NTAG216:
Memory capacity:
The NTAG213 offers 144 bytes of memory, while the NTAG215 holds a whopping 504 bytes. If you need even more space, the NTAG216 provides up to 888 bytes of memory.
Number of possible scans:
The NTAG213 is designed to handle around 50,000 scans. The NTAG215 raises the bar considerably with up to 200,000 scans, and the NTAG216 tops the list with an impressive lifespan of up to 500,000 scans.
Operating frequency:
All three tags – NTAG213, NTAG215 and NTAG216 – operate at the same frequency of 13.56 MHz.
Read and write distance:
Depending on the type of NFC reader and environmental conditions, all three tags can be read and written to at a distance of up to 4 cm.
Data retention:
NTAG213, NTAG215 and NTAG216 all offer a data retention time of up to 10 years.
